Heritage Site Summer Hours

The Heritage Site is open to the public from 11 a.m until 4 p.m. on Thursday until Monday of each week from mid May until mid October.  

There is currently no gate fee, however, a good will offering is greatly appreciated.

Annual Tori and Music Fest

Each year, on the second weekend in August, the Heritage Site presents the FMHS annual Tori and Music fest which features a variety of foods, crafters demonstrating and selling, arts and crafts booths, a resident blacksmith, museum and school house tours, activities for children, a fine collection of musical performances, raffles, door prizes, an evening bon fire, and on Sunday morning, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. an outdoor pancake and sausage breakfast and much more. This year the weekend is August 11th and 12th.

Visitors to the Heritage Site will normally find Dick Reinke busy mowing grass or making the grounds even more appealing. Judy Reinke will be pleased to lead a very accurate tour of the buildings. Dick and Judy have been Heritage Site hosts for 4 years.
